Welcome to our monthly newsletter.
This month, we’re taking a look at 'Standard 6: Employee Lifecycle' from the Thriving at Work Framework.
Standard 6 encourages you to consider how mental wellbeing can be recognised throughout the employee lifecycle, from recruitment to retirement.
In this newsletter, we’re focusing on the early career stage of the lifecycle.
Some key considerations in this area include:
|
- Building mental wellbeing into onboarding and induction processes
- Providing mentorship, buddy schemes, or coaching opportunities
- Providing extra support at this key juncture, such as additional signposting to your support and resources, or early careers-specific events
- Improving understanding of challenges faced in early careers, for example through training on topics such as unhealthy perfectionism or resilience.
